What is a Preorder?

Preorder is purchasing an item in advance prior to release date. All preorders will shipped on the date of release of that item.

When will my order going to be ship with Preorder item?

Orders that contain an preorder item will all be shipped once all item on the invoice are available. Please check the description for the release and shipping date of the preorder item.

Can I have the available item of my order shipped immediately? 

Yes, you can. It will be treated as a separate order and all available items can be shipped immediately. An extra shipping cost will apply or free shipping if eligible.

Preorder Payment

All preorders required upfront payment.

Preorder Cancellation

A 5% restocking fee will be withheld from the refund amount of the cancel preorder item(s). Cancellation fee is non negotiable.

Delayed Preorder item

If the pre-order item release date is delayed by the manufacturer, we will immediately notify customers by email or phone. You have the option to wait or get a full refund without the restocking fee.

Oversold Preorder item

If we cancel your preorder due to short supply and unable to fulfill the order, we will give you a full refund. We will also give you 5% store credit for our mistake of overselling.

Sealed Product

Due to the way the sealed product are shipped to us, some product may present imperfections from shipping such as, but not limited to:

• Hole(s) in the wrap
• Partially torn wrap
• Dents/Creasing on the box

We inspect all product to make sure the packs themselves have not experienced any damage to them, and that the issues with the sealed product are purely cosmetic. We make no guarantee that the sealed product you receive will be free of any cosmetic imperfections.

Card Game Singles

The following condition guideline applies for both Holofoil & Non-Holofoil cards.

Near Mint - NM

Cards in Near Mint condition show minimal to no wear from shuffling, play or handling and can have a nearly unmarked surface, crisp corners and unblemished edges outside of a few minimal flaws. A Near Mint card may have a tiny edge nick or a tiny scratch or two.

Note that Holofoil cards can be slightly warped due to materials of the cards.

Lightly Played - LP

Cards in Lightly Played (LP) condition may have minor border, surface or corner wear or even just slight scuffs or scratches. There are no major defects noticeable on the cards.

Moderately Played - MP

Cards in Moderately Played (MP) condition can have border wear, corner wear, scratching or scuffing, creases/dents or whitening or any combination of mild examples of these marks. Creasing and/or dents must be very minor, and not in combination with any other defects listed.

Heavily Played - HP

Cards in Heavily Played (HP) condition show a severe amount of wear, and can have border wear, corner wear, scratching or scuffing, creases/dents or whitening or any combination of mild examples of these marks, in high quantity.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the quality control in Pokémon, Centering of the raw card does not affect the condition. Assume that the card we sell is not a GEM MINT.

Shipping Guidelines 

SHIPPING RATES WITHIN CANADA

We offer a flat rate of $15 tracked shipping on all orders being delivered within Canada. If your order is valued at or over $200, it’s eligible for free tracked shipping.

Orders that contain only Card Game Singles are eligible for the $3.5 bubble mailer of up to 30 Cards OR $1.5 PWE of up to 2 cards max. These orders are sent via Letter Mail without tracking or insurance. Hobby Shop TCG assumes NO responsibility for lost letter mail shipments as they are without tracking and uninsured.

*Please note that bubble mailer is only for Card Game Singles. If you have a any sealed products, Card Game Singles valued at or more than $65 or more than 30 cards, it will be shipped as flat rate tracked shipping or free shipping if eligible.

Oversized orders or orders to remote areas are subject to additional fees and you will be contacted.

We offer a calculate shipping rate upon checkout to the USA on all orders.

CUSTOMS, DUTIES and TAXES

Hobby Stop TCG is NOT responsible for any customs, import duties or any other fees associated. These charges are at buyers' expense.

We are only currently shipping within CANADA and US.

PROCESSING TIME

Allow us to process your order within 1-3 business days. This is on top of the time frame outline at the time of checkout.

SHIPPING TIME

All orders will be shipped via Canada Post or UPS. This will allow us to provide our customers the best shipping rate available. As shipping times varies, please allow 2-10 business days for your item to arrive.

Please note that we do not shipped order on Sunday and Statutory Holiday.

SHIPPING ADDRESS MODIFICATION

Please make sure that your shipping address is correct before confirming your order as we cannot make changes to your address after your order is submitted. The shipping address will be automatically printed on the shipping label. This means, we CANNOT modify your address.

COMBINING ORDER

Currently we’re unable to combine existing orders!

Return policy guidelines 

It’s understandable that people change their mind regarding their purchases which is why we offer 30 days return policy. 

 To be eligible for a return, the item must be unopened and is still in its original form,  the same condition that you received it and It must also be in the original packaging.  

 Returns made after 30 days of the orders delivery date will not be accepted.

 Only regular priced item will be refunded if eligible. Unfortunately sale items are all final sales and can’t be refunded.

 Please note that we do not accept return in Singles Card in any game form.

 Item Return

 Please email us at hobbystoptcg@gmail.com. On the title please mention “return” plus your “order number”. In the Email, include the item that you wish to return and include the reason.  

 Return shipping cost will be at the customer expense. If the item is value at over $75, kindly consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

Refund Policy - If eligible

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned merchandise. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return/refund.

If eligible, merchandise returned within 30 days of the delivery date will be refunded to the original form of payment after the inspection of the returned item.

 Please note that there is processing time before a refund is reflect in your account.

Exchange Policy

Unfortunately we do not have a exchange policy. Check return guidelines if you are eligible. Once your order has been returned and refunded, you can place a new order for your preferred items.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items are all final sale and cannot be refunded.
